Quick rules

  • Avoid routine NSAIDs (ibuprofen, diclofenac) if uncontrolled BP, kidney disease, ulcers.
  • Prefer paracetamol for mild pain/fever (stay within safe dose).
  • Take after food; don’t mix multiple painkillers accidentally.

  • Severe pain, black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain, persistent fever.
